The Audit Committee, chaired by Dr Richard Hopkins, meets monthly on a Thursday from 9.30 am to 11.00 am.
There are also bi-monthly Audit Presentation Meetings during the Monday Education Programme. (Please note that on these days the Programme will start at 11.00am. The Audit Presentation will be from 11.00am to 1.30pm). All interested staff are invited to those Monday presentations.
While attached to the Halton Mental Health Directorate, each trainee is expected to undertake an audit study, the bulk of which will be presented to the whole Directorate before the end of their attachment.
Audit topics can be discussed with your educational superior and then discussed at the audit committee before implementation.
All Trainees will present their audit topics in a logical progression during their six months. The first set of presentations early in the Trainees sixth month period will consist of audit projects and the second set of presentations will be of the results of those projects later on. These presentations will be at special sessions for audit in the Monday afternoon educational programme as described above.

Junior Doctors Representatives and Committees
There is a Clinical Management Meeting on the last Thursday of the month in January, March, May, July, September, November from 9.30am to 11.00am, currently chaired by Dr Sheena Pollet to discuss matters of relevance to the Directorate.
